About This Spot

Il Bricco Divino di Alessio Soderini is the kind of Italian restaurant that feels like stumbling upon a quietly cherished secret while wandering through the streets of Perugia. The moment you step inside, the space wraps around you with a reserved warmth—modest and unpretentious, yet attentive in every detail. The atmosphere moves at a gentle pace, encouraging lingering conversations and moments of calm in contrast to the lively bustle outside.

Here, the focus rests on the simple joy of sharing well-crafted dishes made with care and local ingredients. The kitchen, though small, hums with a confident rhythm, producing plates that are honest and thoughtfully composed. You might find yourself savoring the kind of robust ragù that speaks to long Italian Sundays, or delighting in a tender tagliata that feels like a quiet celebration of flavor. The accompanying wines, chosen with a clear fondness for regional character, invite a relaxed exploration of taste alongside the food.

What lingers in the memory beyond the plate is the genuine warmth of the service—a gentle presence that makes you feel like a welcomed guest rather than a fleeting visitor. Conversation flows naturally, and though the English may be quiet, the unspoken language of kindness and shared enjoyment is unmistakable.

Il Bricco Divino is not a showy place; it’s an intimate escape where the quiet moments of a meal gain their own significance. It’s ideal for those who seek the comfort of authentic Italian hospitality paired with dishes that carry both tradition and a quiet, surprising elegance. Whether passing through Perugia or settling in for an evening, it offers a space where food becomes a shared story, unfolding slowly and thoughtfully across the table.

I stayed in Perugia Park Hotel as part of a 15 day Italy tour. Every hotel has a restaurant, but this spot was an easy 12 minute walk from the hotel. I got to the spot and saw it was a literal hole in the wall. I walked in to a quaint, quiet, and beautiful restaurant. I got a primi, a second, and a dessert with wine and literally every course was AMAZING. I’m so mad that no body in my group went to experience this restaurant. The staff was excellent and the service was phenomenal. I URGE you to come here.

Amazing food and great service with fair price. They didn’t speak too much English the day we were there, but they were extremely nice and everything worked out perfectly. The food is amazing and I’m impressed what they can manage to put together in the small kitchen. Quality of ingredients is great and the pasta was cooked al dente to perfection. We had the house red and white and they were great and the desert wine was also superb. I highly recommend this super cozy little place if you are in town.
